I am wanting to invite some friends and family over for Litha. I was hoping some of you would be willing to share your favorite recipes for Litha? I think I am just going to have a picnic in my back yard with friends and family... play some games and then end the evening with a little bonfire and smores.
What is everyone else doing?
Litha Recipes?
Long time no Covenspace.
Hi All,
It feels like forever since I got on here. We moved and love this new place. So much more comfortable and homey. The neatest part of all this... Avalon (my daughter) has not slept in her room in over a year. Would wake up in panics in the middle of the night. Has slept on our couch the entire time at the old house and still would wake up crying. Since we moved here, she has slept in her room and sleeps through the night... she is 7. Speaking of 7. She had the best birthday party this year. I threw her a Glitz and Glamor party this year and invited all the girls in her class (17). We had a red carpet event, tiara's, photo shoots, dancing, gold fring door covers. It was a blast. It took about two weeks to get our internet and phone going here in the boondocks so that is part of the reason I have been MIA for a while. The second part is my wonderful grandma passed away. My awesome Grandma has never been your regular Grandma type. She met my grandpa covered in grease working on her car engine. She was getting speeding up until she was 82. She drives a sporty car and has a cell phone. I told her it is not right that my Grammy is cooler than me lol. She just wore out. She would have been 86 in July. She passed of old age... even that, how often do you hear of someone dying of old age anymore? It's cancer, heart attacks, strokes... She went out as cool as she came in. She had no machines, no pain meds, just sleeping peacefully until she went. I got to go in before she left and love on her. I thanked her for being my Grandma. Told her I was excited for her new adventure. That she was wonderful and I loved her so very much. I sat and held her hand and kissed her cheeks and forehead. She smelled so sweet, she never had that "grandma smell". Lol. The first time I stayed the night with her she wore a big T-shirt and fluffy socks to sleep in. I thought she was the coolest and still do. Her funeral in Wednesday. *sigh*. She is getting cremated and buried between my Grandpa and my uncle that passed away of Polio when he was 9.
So this last month has been crazy and busy and heartbreaking. But I am back and just wanted to say hello to you all and catch back up.

Have you looked at the moon tonight?

It is gorgeous tonight. So bright and pretty. If you haven't looked go out now.
Pagan Art?
I am wanting to buy some large poster art for my bedroom and livingroom.
I would love to find this particular print for my room but am really looking at anything right now... I was just curious if anyone has a favorite site they buy off of. TIA.

"Out of curiousity, do they do that laproscopicly or a full incision? When they do anything laproscopic they fill you abdomin with gas and it can some times get trapped in there and cause alot of pain. I have had two laproscopic surgeries.. nothing that extensive but the gas in the will feel like knives coming out of your shoulders." My Father got a full incision. The doctors believe he had a gallstone attack. He is in very ruff shape right now. All I can do is pray |
